Welcome to the students and teachers from our partner school in Spain, the Instituto Juan Ramón Jiménez who are visiting us for a week, and making the most of their time here to explore Cornwall and see the Olympic torch on its journey to London.

Amy has recently enjoyed a visit to Plougasnou where she stayed with a French family and gained work experience in a wide variety of places including the local library and a bakery. She was really well looked after and is an excellent example of our College's new link with the school in Plougasnou which has come about as a result of the town twinning.

Year 7 and 8 pupils have been learning about the Chinese New Year - the Year of the Dragon from Liu Fang, their Chinese language assistant.

Years 9-11 really enjoyed the excellent recent French play 'Les garçons' performed by Antoine and Céline, two actors from the Onatti Theatre company. We are now really looking forward to the company's Spanish production of 'La primera cita' on February the 23rd. Year 11 pupils particularly appreciated the chance to talk to both actors after the production. Vive Onatti!
