Year 10 Spanish students have just returned from their visit to Andalucía as part of a Comenius project with the IES Juan Ramón Jiménez. They were a delight to be with and enjoyed visiting Malaga, Cordoba, Ronda and Sevilla. During the visit they were able to visit a Madre Coraje centre in Malaga which gave them lots of ideas for recycling.

We'd like to welcome Emilie Prost to HCC. Emilie will be our new French assistant this year. She is from Besançons in France.
A warm welcome to Patricia Pazos, our new Spanish assistant who comes from Sevilla in Andalucía. Patricia is keen to teach our students the typical dance from Seville, the sevillana!
I was delighted to represent the College at the recent conference in Prague. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about new developments in etwinning and Comenius and to meet and network with lots of colleagues from across Europe. We are currently engaged in two Comenius projects within the College and enjoy working with schools in France, Spain and Norway. I would like to develop a link with a school in Lithuania in the future to reflect the fact that we now have pupils from that country at our College.
