To mark European Languages Day on Sunday the College has been taking part in a whole raft of activities including languages challenges, quizes and competitions.
- Non MFL staff have been using their language skills in their lessons and pupils have awarded them commendations for their efforts - a bottle of bubbly will be winding its way to the winner who will be announced shortly.
- Year 7 pupils have enjoyed taking part in the the 'Sounds like the European Union' quiz where they have listened to greetings, and music from 10 European countries.
- Year 8 have taken part in the 'I love languages, do you?' quiz from Routes into Languages.
- Year 9-13 have taken on the challenge of identifying language patterns across English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Catalan!
- Some students have even learnt some Zulu courtesy of www.radiolingua.net
There are still a number of competitions to come and TRICs to be won.
